What is Good Health?
We Are.
Who Are We?
We are the Columbus Medical Association & Affiliates. We have served the community for over 155 years supporting physicians and their innovative ideas, passions and goals.
We are a place where many of those healthy ideas are funded by the CMA Foundation and converted into services and programs vital to the Central Ohio community.
The most impactful of those physician-led ideas have become our thriving organizations in which we are proud to be affiliated: Physicians CareConnection, COTS, Physicians Leadership Academy, and Made for Medicine.
We embody good health.
For more than 15 decades,
Columbus Medical Association and Affiliates (CMAA) has been dedicated to ensuring physicians have the tools to support our community and beyond. As I wrap up almost 10 years of service as CEO at CMA, it is imperative to highlight the successes of the organization post-pandemic.
At our core, We are good health.
The dynamic landscape of healthcare in 2020 and 2021 presented significant challenges and unexpected demands. However, through innovative approaches and unified efforts, physicians and experts affiliated with CMA rose to the occasion, positively impacting lives, and making necessary adjustments.
This includes recognizing healthcare systems are battling against an increase in physician burnout.
Consequently, we have intensified our focus on prioritizing the mental well-being of physicians and exploring avenues to promote good health holistically.
The Columbus Medical Association Foundation has played an indispensable role in ensuring that our affiliates are equipped with the necessary resources and support to pursue this renewed mission.
Within this report, you will encounter a selection of stories that underscore why we are putting a spotlight on unity and good health within our profession, our patients, and our community.
